A very relaxing break set in beautiful countryside with amazing views. A great place to escape the hussle and bussle of everyday life. We will return. Mr L, Leeds, West Yorkshire 16 February 2011
If you are looking for a peaceful retreat this is the place to go. Cake and flowers on arrival, lots of character in cottage, just what was needed for a weekend away from the hustle and bustle of busy home life.
Would recommend this cottage 100%. We will be booking again.
Mrs S, Sunderland, Tyne And Wear 25 January 2011
The owner was so pleasant and helpful. Mrs R, Worksop, Nottinghamshire 19 January 2011
A beautiful view in a lovely cottage, somewhere where all the stresses of daily life just melt away. Miss P, Fleet, Hampshire 18 August 2010
This was a very good, comfortable and quiet cottage in an excellent situation on the moors where you can relax and take in the scenery and leave the rat race behind but with easy access to many places around the area. Also, could not ask for better hosts. Mr K, Birmingham, West Midlands 17 July 2010
Rose cottage is a truly peaceful place to achieve total relaxation. The cottage is first class and the area outstanding for the views, fresh air and opportunities to observe animals and birds. Mrs S, SHIPLEY, West Yorkshire 21 April 2010
If you want a beautiful setting with stunning views, then you must give this cottage a try. We loved our four days there and would go back. The 'farm' setting was just perfect, with just the right amount of animals. Central location was good for exploring both the moors and the coast and the railway gave us a great day in Whitby without having to use the car. Excellent!! Mrs B, Leigh-on-sea, Essex 16 March 2010
We have been booking cottages in the UK twice a year for 30 years and this is one of the best. Very remote and peaceful. Spotless farmyard. Friendly ducks. Rev B, HUDDERSFIELD, West Yorkshire 11 November 2009
A beautiful cottage in a picturesque setting, perfect for a relaxing holiday. Mrs T, Mansfield, Nottinghamshire 07 June 2009
A very well equipped cottage in a quiet, secluded, picturesque part of Yorkshire. We thoroughly enjoyed the peace and quiet of the cottage, but also the many beautiful places we visited in the area - Whitby, Goatland, Farndale and the North York Moors Railway to name but a few. A visit to the James Herriot Museum in Thirsk ( as well as the surrounding countryside) was another highlight of our stay. Mrs T 12 May 2009
Just the most beautiful views from every window! It was a perfect location to get away from the world and back to nature - birds singing, cows mooing, geese quacking and the farm cat purring at your side - blissful!! Mrs T, Qatar 21 March 2009
First class location for relaxation and peace. The views are stunning and the owner is very caring. There are lots of interestng places to visit without having to travel too far - a home from home. Mrs S, Shipley, West Yorkshire 21 February 2009
Other than points raised about access, i found this cottage to be very comfortable and welcoming. It had everything necessary for a relaxing holiday. Mrs B, South Shields, Tyne & Wear 19 September 2008
I would recommend this place to anyone. It was fantastic, and I wish we could pick it up and take it with us on any of the Hoseasons Country Cottages holidays we take from now on! Mrs H, Atherstone, Warwickshire 25 February 2008
